Pops turned 60 in June so Nana secretly arranged a trip over Memorial Day weekend for the family. We had a great time in Highlands & Cashiers but the best part was being together (& the girls winning at Cranium!).
We had a ball (get, it?!?!) playing outside. Sam & Troy enjoyed roughing around with Pops.

Although the sleeping arrangements were creative (don't let them fool you...John & Stacy loved the bunk beds) we loved being in the same house for the weekend. There was pajama fun...

When Carol asked Gary how he wanted to celebrate his birthday he said he thought it would be nice if we could all go hiking together. Well, since our hiking skills are on all levels we chose to hike Bald Mountain...not too strenuous & gave us some great views at the top.

After the hike we went to check out some of the local waterfalls. At the bottom of Dry Falls.
All the "family time" had an adverse effect on some people.
We had a great holiday weekend & are so glad that we are blessed with a family that loves each other...candid shots & all!
