Tummy Time

Sam joins Troy for some tummy time. What a helpful big brother!

Oconee State Park

Saturday evening we decided to head "up the mountain" and take a picnic supper to Oconee State Park. We also brought Shiloh & Dozer figuring they would enjoy a field trip. After eating we took a small hike around the lake.

Troy & I with Shiloh & Dozer.
Troy really did enjoy himself although you can't tell from this picture!

Lindsey's Shower

Our friends Jeff & Lindsey are getting married in August. Their son Jacob is friends with Sam. Lindsey & I try to hang out at least once a week so they can play (best activity they have done by far is bowling at the Union!). Here is happy Lindsey after one of her showers.

Cow Appreciation Day...better luck next year

The other Friday was Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-Fil-A and if you dressed like a cow your meal was free! Always one to cash in on a deal I attempted to dress Sam like a cow. He was not that crazy about the idea.
Notice the empty tape spots on his shirt where he tore his "cow spots" off.
His cow ears look more like cat ears. Can you tell I'm not the craftiest person? We had fun & met Aunt Bet, Mimi, & Pappa for lunch.

Around The House

Troy seems to be growing before our eyes. He is now 3 months old and sleeping through the night!

Sam, also a good sleeper, strikes one of his unique sleeping poses.
One of the few pictures of me with the boys. Good thing Josh's chair is plenty big.

Mann Reunion at Lake Murray

We went to the Mann Family Reunion at Lake Murray. It was a beautiful day and we loved seeing the family.

Sam & Josh lovin' the water.
G-ma & Aunt Bet swinging with Troy.
Sam is always happy to see Mimi.
Father & son sharing a moment on the dock.

Troy follows G-dad's example.

G-dad & G-ma watching all the lake fun. Thanks for the wonderful Lake Murray memories!

Success!

Here are my first tomatoes of the season. I have "harvested" many, many more & have loved eating them all (I did share a few).

Who Needs Spoons?

At lunch the other day Sam discovered that his yogurt cup is similar to his sippy cup. And when all else fails you can use your hands!
