BLTs Here I Come!

One of the best things about summer (to me) is all the fresh fruit & produce. This summer I've decided to try my hand at "gardening" and bought 2 tomato plants...however Shiloh & Dozer (our mostly good dogs) destroy anything in the backyard & our front yard has too much shade so I'm container gardening on our deck.
My tomato plants after about 4 weeks.
Plant #1
Tomatoes on plant #1
Plant #2
Biggest tomato on plant #2
I realize that I'm a big nerd to get excited about tomato plants but to quote a favorite song..."there's only 2 things that money can't buy...that's true love & home-grown tomatoes!"

Bowling Fun

Our friends Lindsey, Jeff, & Jacob invited Sam (along with Troy & me) to go bowling. Jeff runs the Union & gave us the hook-up while the Union was closed for graduation so we had a private bowling party! Troy slept the entire time...we think he really enjoyed the noise of the balls & pens falling.
This is the least blurry picture of Jacob & Sam.
Sam finally got the hang of rolling the bowling ball down the ramp. Jacob is already leaps & bounds ahead of Sam in bowling ability and didn't need to use the "special" ramp!
Sam, of course, liked the bowling balls most of all.

Troy again

Sam being sweet to little brother Troy.
Gotta love a sleeping baby.
Sam, Pappa, Josh, & Troy...tricky getting a picture of everyone.
Sam, Mimi, Troy, & Pappa...once again, tricky getting a picture with everyone!

Orange & White Game

Josh & Sam went to Clemson's spring game back in April (I'm way behind in posting!). They only made it through the first quarter but had a good time anyway.
Uncle John met them at the game & helped Josh keep tabs on Sam.
How Sam made it through the game...thank goodness for crackers!
Sam was tuckered out after the game & wanted to sleep on Josh's shoulders. Too sweet!
