Baseball Game

On Tuesday after Josh got home from work we went to the Clemson vs. Michigan State baseball game. It was a beautiful day and the boys did great. This is one of the things we love about living so close to Clemson...all the fun sporting events we can go to.

Family picture...still working on getting Sam & Troy to actually look at the camera!

Troy had fun hanging out with The Tiger...Sam not so much. He didn't want to get off my lap but did agree to give The Tiger a high-five.

Reedy River Run '09

In our quest to run as many local 5Ks as possible Josh & I entered the Reedy River Run this past weekend. It was a beautiful day for a run and we both enjoyed the course and also improved our times from the last 5K (Race For The Grasshopper). No individual awards this time just personal satisfaction.
Stacy (Josh's sister-in-law) and her friend Kelly also ran.

Ready to run again.
Race start...a great course through downtown Greenville, historic district, Cleveland Park, and finishing at Falls Park.

The three Millers after crossing the finish line. As I mentioned no individual awards but I think I should get some credit for being the sweatiest and most red-faced. How do other people run and not look like it?!?!? I keep thinking that if I run enough then I won't look so terrible when I finish...no luck so far.

Mobiles Beware!

We knew it was time to take the mobile down from Troy's crib the morning I walked in to his room & found him playing with two of the animals.

The lion & aligator would not have been lonely for long.
Caught in the act!

Who, me?

Dishwasher Fun

Our refrigerator, being stainless steel, is not magnetic so we utilize the dishwasher. Currently we have a conglomeration of letters & animals. Troy likes to take the magnets off & drop them to see how they bounce or carry them all over the house so we have to hunt them down. Sam actually plays with them and knows all the songs for each letter & animal.

Sam does know how to spell his name (Sam & Samuel) and he knows his letters but as you can see he doesn't quite know how to put the letters together in order to spell Samuel. But give him a break...pretty incredible for a 2 year old!

Come On Scholarship!

Troy still needs some practice with the ol' pigskin...you catch it, you don't eat it! Do we see "Running Down the Hill" in his future? Maybe not!

Moving Some Leaves

Josh took Sam out the other day to test out his new backpack blower. They cleared all the leaves out of the backyard play area. I don't know what y'all think but I think it's pretty cute that they are dressed alike!

According to Josh after blowing all the leaves out they "experimented" with what the low setting on the blower will do to a golf ball. Do we see a potato gun in the future?
