Last Tuesday we met Josh at work and took him to a park for a picnic lunch. Again trying to take advantage of this beautiful spring weather before summer hits us full force and it gets too hot for me to enjoy being outside.
In addition to the "pond" and waterfall there were some great trees. We propped the boys up in this one and got some cute pictures.
On the way back to our car Sam saw two birds and went running after them...he was sure that if he could just get close enough he could catch them. Well, we all know how this story ends...the birds kept flying off and Sam in full pursuit fell down and scraped his hands & chin. A few tears ended the picnic but we had a great time.
