The weekend after Easter we ran in another 5K. This one was in Seneca and benefited VIMM - Volunteers in Medical Missions. Stacy ran too and this time John joined us. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time. The course was pretty challenging...we started at the lake and as John put it everything is uphill from the lake.
The boys meet one of the Chick-Fil-A cows. No tears but no high-fives either.
After the race...still working on looking better after I cross the finish line. Josh & I had pretty good times. We both cut a minute plus off our fastest and had our fastest 1 mile split to date. I think Josh was pleased even though John beat him by 15 seconds or so...getting beat by your younger brother should be incentive to keep training.

Thanks for posting all the fun pictures! You look great after the race! Once I am running again, I will have to post a picture of me. I have the redest face EVER! I remember those great spring days in the upstate. Glad you are enjoying them!
