For my birthday Josh, Sam, & Troy gave me 2 bags of potting soil, a large pot, a tomato plant, & a packet of green bean seeds!!! Here are some of my green beans...the plan is to have them trellis along the deck spindles.

In the spirit of fair competition Sam & Troy went to one of the kids workshops at Lowe's (check out this post with our review of The Home Depot's kids workshop) and made planters.
While I take care of my plants they water their flowers.
And here are the two reasons we have to do container gardening.
Dozer & Shiloh run amok in the back yard & destroy anything we don't want them to.
I hope to post pictures of our "harvest" through out the summer!
